Palm Springs and the Other Cities of the Coachella Valley
Coachella Valley

With the city of Palm Springs as its northern gateway, the Coachella Valley extends from the San Bernardino Mountains to the southeast, for approximately 60 miles, to the Salton Sea. It is bounded by the 10,500 ft. San Jacinto Mountains to the west, and the Santa Rosa Mountains. To the east, it is bounded by the Little San Bernardino Mountains and the Chocolate Mountains off in the distance to the southeast. The valley is about 15 miles wide, along the majority of its length. The Coachella Valley is one of the fastest-growing areas in the country, due to our proximity to Los Angeles and San Diego, our relatively affordable housing (at least by California standards), our laid back life style, and our wonderful weather. All of these factors act like a magnet, attracting ever increasing numbers of tourists and new residents to this beautiful valley.

Cities of the Valley

The eight cities which we serve in the Coachella Valley, with the exception of Desert Hot Springs, form a ribbon flowing in a southeasterly direction from Palm Springs to the city of Indio.
