Palm Springs is an alluring destination resort city. Each year from October through March, the population of beautiful Palm Springs more than doubles. Palm Springs has been a magnet for visitors from all over the world since the 1920's. They come to find a warm refuge from their frigid winters. Yes, they come primarily for this one reason --- our sunny warm weather. Visitors and residents alike do love the beautiful mountain vistas and the rugged beauty of our desertscapes and our neighbourhoods of Spanish Modern and California Ranch styled homes set in landscapes, abundant with flowers, bougainvillea, and palms. But the balmy sunny weather is the main draw, and people come back to stay.
As so many others before us, my wife and I came to visit and then soon returned to live here full time (from our home in Boston), seduced by the promise of perpetual sunshine and dry warm weather. With 350 days of sunshine each year, we have not been disappointed!
