Little Tuscany

Little Tuscany takes its name from the hilly region of Central Italy around Florence which it resembles. Little Tuscany was developed in 1935 and offers the classic charm of old Palm Springs with its quiet narrow streets on the hilly terrain. Many if not most of the homes have grounds landscaped around the great boulders there. This quiet neighborhood is on the northern edge of central Palm Springs and still provides residents with the convenience of easy city living. The homes here are built in a variety of architectural styles from bungalows to grand estates. Close to the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, these lovely homes in Little Tuscany enjoy a wonderful vantage point to view the mountains and the valley floor below.

Little Tuscany

As with our other older neighborhoods, Little Tuscany boasts a rich history of famous names and homes of architectural significance. Architects who built here include E. Stewart Williams, Richard Neutra, and Albert Frey. Elvis owned several homes in Palm Springs with one of them in Little Tuscany. It’s also said that one of the Hearsts had a home here as did one of the Gabor sisters.

Prices for these luxury homes begin at around $600,000 and grow to several million for the larger properties. For an elegant lifestyle, Little Tuscany is a great choice. If you would like to see property in Little Tuscany, call Dick. He will enjoy helping you find the home of your dreams.
