Immigration Reform Bill to Benefit Canadians in Palm Springs

thCADDNF09Last week an immigration reform bill to benefit Canadians was released in the US Senate when the “Gang of 8” introduced their new comprehensive reform bill. Part of the new bill is a proposal that would allow Canadian visitors over 55 to stay in the US for up to eight months a year. The bill also introduces a retiree visa that would allow foreigners who make a cash purchase of real estate, at $500K or greater, to reside here for up to three years. We will keep you updated as the bill moves forward.

Here is a link to a good summary of this new immigration reform bill explaining its potential benefits, provided by the offices of Maximilian Law Inc. – Immigration Reform Bill.
