It’s time to mark your calendars for the 19th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. The festival is set to begin on January 3, 2008 and will run through January 14.
The festival started in 1990 has grown into one of the largest film festivals in North America. The majority of films presented here are those which are submitted for consideration in the Best Foreign Language category for the Academy Awards. Also featured will be a large number of American independent and international features and documentaries. Activities include a black tie awards gala which a number of luminaries in the industry will attend. Lots of excitement for Palm Springs!
