The annual Pacific Life Open, one of the most famous and best attended tournaments in the world of tennis, now in its 34th year, is being played from March 10 to March 23. Tickets are still available. It’s the fifth most attended tennis tournament in the world, featuring top players of both the men’s ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) and women’s WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) tours.
Last year’s tournament attracted about 300,000 fans, with over 70,000 attending in the first weekend alone, according to Tournament Director, Steve Simon.
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden in neighboring Indian Wells is home to the tournament each year. It’s a gorgeous setting, ringed by the Santa Rosa Mountains, and soaked in sunshine. The weather for this year’s event thus far is superb, so it’s a great place to be for tennis, good food, entertainment and promotional events with the star players.
