“WildLights” at The Living Desert

Holiday Festival of Lights Parade. . . check, Tamale Festival . . . check, . . . so what else is on our list for celebrating the season? WildLights at the Living Desert! Each year the Living Desert opens the yuletide season with their annual after dark festival. It’s well underway and features over a third of a million lights illuminating the park, transforming the desert into a twinkling winter wonderland. Live musicians make it more festive, and for the cool nip in the air, there are wood burning fireplaces, hot cider, hot chocolate, and s’mores. Also, the Meerkat Café is offering full food service. Children can visit with Santa and zip around on the Super Glide Rink, an iceless “skating” rink. It’s a nice outing. Take some time for yourself to enjoy the holidays in a relaxed and fun setting.

The remaining dates are Dec. 12-14, Dec. 19-23, and Dec. 26-Jan. 4, from six until nine each evening. The Living Desert is located in Palm Desert/Indian Wells. For full details, check out WildLights.
