The Tour de Palm Springs on Saturday turned out to be a rollicking success with about 10,000 bicyclists rolling through the valley in perfect, warm and sunny biking weather. Riders raised money for charity, cruising routes ranging from 5 to 100 miles. Now in its 10th year, the event has grown into one of the largest charity bike rides in the United States, raising more than $100,000 for a number of local nonprofit organizations.
