Palm Springs Exotic Car Auctions return again this year on Friday and run three days from November 21-23, 2008. Begun by Keith McCormick in 1985, the Auctions have grown over the years to “become a world famous Palm Springs tradition”. The auctions are held in November and February each year on the grounds of Spa Resort Casino right here in downtown Palm Springs.

Friday is check in day and the first auction begins at 4:00pm. The two following days the gates open at 8:00am and the auctions begin at 10 am. Over 500 cars are being offered this year, from every decade, with many offered on consignment. If you just want to take a look, admission is free on Friday and you can go reminisce amongst these terrific cars. This year one of our friends is auctioning off his Volkswagen beetle; it’s a 1957 oval window bug. So it’s one we’ll watch with particular interest.
